About Emergency Jam
Rather than dropping one puzzle every few minutes, Emergency Jam threads its challenges into a single continuous session: each level is a one-shot clearing of a specific car from a crowded lot. You move the goal car in its fixed direction once you've arranged a path, and that exit ends the puzzle. There's no mid-pause level lockout, so you can pick up right where you left off—ideal for a commute stretch or a quick break between tasks. Every attempt asks the same question: can you shift the right vehicles in the right order before the lot locks up?
As you go, cars in 8 different colors show up, making each puzzle tougher. Use boosters to line them up by color or shuffle things around when you're stuck. It’s all about thinking ahead, moving emergency vehicles in their set directions, and matching colors as they exit. Clear the path, rescue passengers, and get that car out.
How to Play Emergency Jam
- Drag each car along its allowed direction—up, down, left, or right—to slide it into an empty space or align it for exit.
- Tap a car to select it, then drag it along its track to clear a path for the target vehicle.
- Move emergency vehicles of different sizes around the parking lot, each one moving only in its set direction.
- Rescue passengers of matching colors as the selected car exits to complete the rescue.
- Continue shifting cars until the selected car can drive straight out of the lot.
Game Features
- Each level presents an 8×8 or smaller grid with cars in 8 distinct colors that must pair for passenger rescue.
- Cars of different lengths (2x1, 3x1) move only along their painted direction, limiting possible moves.
- Boosters let you rearrange stuck cars by shuffling positions or swapping colors when no legal move exists.
- Emergency vehicles include ambulance, police, and fire truck reskins with the same slide mechanic.
- Passenger rescue triggers only when a car matching its color group exits, adding a matching layer beyond path clearing.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I move a car that traps the target vehicle farther in the lot?
You can always undo your last move by tapping the undo button; if undo is unavailable, the only option is to restart the level from the beginning.
Do emergency cars of different colors behave differently?
No—all cars slide the same way regardless of color. Color only matters for passenger rescue: the target car matches one set of passengers, and other colors on the board are just obstacles.
If I run out of moves and no boosters are left, is the level permanently stuck?
Yes, without a booster to shuffle or swap, you must restart the level. Boosters are earned by replaying earlier cleared levels, not purchased.
