About TFT Water Sort
The puzzle hangs on a single tube: three layers of mismatched colour, one slot open. You can pour the top shade onto a tube of the same colour, but that tube is two layers deep in a different shade already. The board won't advance until you resolve that half-empty tube — every subsequent pour depends on clearing it first. TFT Water Sort distills the sorting genre down to that moment of choice: which colour do you commit to moving, and which do you leave stranded? The rest of the board is a cascade of consequences from that one decision.
Sort colorful liquids in this relaxing puzzle game! Your goal is to arrange each tube so it contains only one shade, using careful pours and strategic thinking. With simple mouse or touch controls, you'll find yourself completely focused on finding the perfect sequence to organize every drop. It's a satisfying challenge that tests your logic while offering a calming sense of order as you solve each level.
How to Play TFT Water Sort
- Select a tube to lift the top layer of liquid from it.
- Pour the lifted layer onto another tube that contains the same colour on top, or onto an empty tube.
- You may only pour a colour onto a tube if the top colour in that tube matches the poured colour, or if the tube is completely empty.
- A tube is considered full when it contains four layers of liquid; you cannot pour onto a full tube.
- The goal is to sort every tube so that each tube contains liquid of only one colour.
Game Features
- Each puzzle presents a fixed set of tubes with layered colours that must be sorted into monochrome tubes.
- The number of colours and tubes varies per level, increasing the branching possibilities at each decision point.
- A limited number of empty tubes are provided to temporarily hold colours, acting as buffer for rearrangement.
- The pour rule — matching top colour or empty destination — forces sequential dependency between moves.
- The game does not penalise wrong moves; you can backtrack freely by re-pouring from any tube.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I pour a colour onto a tube that already has a different colour on top?
The pour is blocked — you can only pour a colour onto a tube whose top layer matches the poured colour, or onto an empty tube.
How many colours can a single tube hold?
Each tube holds up to four layers of liquid. Once a tube is full, you cannot pour additional liquid onto it.
Can I undo a pour?
There is no explicit undo button, but you can reverse any move by re-pouring the liquid back to its original tube, as long as the colour rule allows it.
Are there tubes that cannot be moved?
No — every tube can be selected and poured from at any time, as long as it contains at least one layer of liquid. Empty tubes are also selectable as destinations.
