About TriPeakz!
TriPeakz! takes the familiar Solitaire formula and twists it into something that feels fresh and surprisingly tense. Instead of a tidy tableau, you're staring down three jagged peaks of face-down cards, each one blocking your path to victory. The core loop is simple: you can only remove a card if it's exactly one higher or one lower than the card on your waste pile. But the peaks are stacked in a way that leaves you constantly weighing options — do you clear a path to a useful card now, or risk it for a better draw later? We found ourselves muttering 'just one more game' after a particularly close loss. This one's for you if you like Solitaire but crave a steeper challenge. Casual players looking for a mindless shuffle might bounce off the peaks' brutal logic.
This twist on Solitaire feels totally fresh. Cards are stacked in peaks you have to clear, just like a regular deck—but it’s trickier than it looks. Organizing your moves and planning the perfect sequence is so satisfying. Clear those peaks to win!
How to Play TriPeakz!
- Use your mouse or touchscreen to select a card from one of the three peaks.
- The selected card must be exactly one rank higher or one rank lower than the top card of the waste pile.
- If you cannot make a move, click or tap the deck to draw a new card onto the waste pile.
- Clear all cards from the three peaks to win the game.
- You win when every card in the peaks has been removed.
Tips & Strategies
- Prioritize clearing cards that are blocking multiple face-down cards — you need to see what's underneath.
- Try to keep your waste pile card at a rank that gives you the most options among visible peak cards.
- If you have a choice, remove cards from the peak with the fewest remaining face-down cards first.
- Use the deck draw sparingly; once you draw, you're stuck with that card until you play it or run out of moves.
- Memorize the positions of face-down cards you've already seen — that knowledge can decide a close game.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I move cards between peaks?
No. You can only remove cards from the peaks to the waste pile. Peaks don't interact with each other directly.
What happens if I run out of deck draws and can't make a move?
The game ends — you lose. There's no extra draw or undo, so plan your moves carefully.
Does the waste pile reset if I draw from the deck?
No, the waste pile grows as you draw. The top card is always the card you most recently drew or played.
Are Aces considered high or low for the one-up/one-down rule?
Aces are low in TriPeakz, so they can be removed only by a 2 (one up) and nothing below them.
Do Kings and Queens follow the same adjacency rule?
Yes. A King can be removed by a Queen (one down) or an Ace? Actually, no — Ace is low, so King only pairs with Queen above and Jack below.
